Orthodonticsfor dental practices

An open slot on your orthodontist's schedule is a case your practice won't start.

We bring orthodontic patients to your practice and follow up so they make it to the chair. The campaign speaks to adults and to parents of kids, and your front desk books patients on the days when your orthodontist has open slots.

Orthodontic treatment takes a long time, so you count revenue per patient from the full treatment, not from the first visit. In the calculator, you enter the value of the full treatment.

What holds adults back is treatment time, cost, and how braces look. At each stage of the decision they need something different, so we prepare four different messages.

  1. Problem.

They don't like their smile and hide their teeth in photos, but they aren't thinking about treatment yet.

We show: a video that names the problem.

  2. Solution.

They know teeth can be straightened. They're comparing methods and checking how long treatment takes.

We show: a video that goes over the methods and answers questions about pain, time, and cost.

  3. Choosing a practice.

They've picked a method and are comparing practices where they could start treatment.

We show: what treatment looks like at your practice: the steps, the orthodontist, the price or payment plans.

  4. Decision.

They know your practice but keep putting off the consultation.

We show: an invitation to a consultation.

With a child, the parent goes through the same four stages, because the parent decides.

The Helpify System

  1. Orthodontics campaign.

We run Facebook and Instagram ads for orthodontics, the service chosen based on your schedule. That way, patients from the campaign go to your orthodontist, on the days that are open. It's one campaign for adults and for parents of kids.

Who: Helpify runs the campaign. You choose the service with us.

  2. Ad videos.

A creator, a person who films videos for ads, comes to your practice and films 6 videos to start. The videos talk about a smile the patient doesn't like, the treatment methods, and what holds the patient back: treatment time, cost, and how braces look. The orthodontist doesn't have to appear in them, and you approve every ad before it runs.

Who: A creator films the videos, we write the scripts, and you approve every ad.

  3. Service page.

It's a page about orthodontic treatment at your practice and nothing else. The patient finds a comparison of treatment methods, what to expect, treatment time, the price or a price range, payment plans, the orthodontist, answers to common questions, and a form.

Who: The patient reads and leaves their number. Helpify builds the page.

  4. Front desk call.

The patient gets a text and an email confirming their request, and your front desk gets a text with the patient's first name, phone number, and service. Your front desk calls the patient and gets up to three reminders about every lead. Their one-page call script covers what to say about price, what to say to "I need to think about it," and which days to book campaign patients on. They mark the call result in your Helpify dashboard.

Who: Your front desk. The system reminds them.

  5. Before the consultation and after a no-show.

A booked patient gets a reminder before the consultation. When your front desk marks a no-show, the patient gets a text, and your front desk gets a reminder to reschedule.

Who: The system. Your front desk marks the no-show.

  6. Dashboard.

You see orthodontic leads, booked appointments, patients who showed up, and ad spend, so you can see whether this campaign is paying off.

Who: The system counts. You check.

Video ad

This is the video format a patient will see on Facebook and Instagram. The example is about implants. The videos for your campaign will be about orthodontic treatment.

Service page

The sample page is built for a made-up practice, with implants as the example. We'll build a page like this for orthodontics at your practice, with the treatment methods, treatment time, the price or a price range, and a form.

What if an agency already runs our orthodontics ads?

You don't have to drop your current agency. The Helpify System can run alongside it. On the call, we'll figure out whether to start with orthodontics or with another service where you have open slots.

Is treatment for adults and kids one campaign or two?

It's one campaign, with one service page and one set of fees. The ads speak to adults and to parents of kids, and your front desk books both on the days when your orthodontist has open slots.

Braces or clear aligners? What will you show in the ads and on the page?

We'll show the methods your practice uses. The service page compares them in plain language and lists the treatment time and the price or a price range for each. The patient can weigh them before leaving their number.

Treatment takes a long time. How do I figure out what one patient is worth?

You can run your own numbers in the calculator. You enter the value of one patient's full treatment, including follow-up visits. The calculator shows treatment revenue, not profit.

Can our front desk handle questions about price?

Your front desk gets a one-page call script with the opening line, what to say about price, and what to say to "I need to think about it." We write the script for your practice, and the front desk training takes 30 minutes.

How much ad budget do I need?

You pay your ad budget separately, straight to Meta. I'll tell you the minimum budget on the call.

I'll show you where your practice may be losing orthodontic patients between the ad and the chair, and I'll tell you whether we can help.

You pay once for the campaign build, and the monthly fee doesn't start until the day your ads go live. If they aren't live within 8 weeks and it's our fault, we refund the build fee.
